Donna also brings strong, hands-on experience in fund development. As Chair of the Communications and Fund Development Committees for the Warmshowers Foundation, she played a key role in stabilizing revenue through the introduction of new membership models, the development of global partnerships, and expanded community engagement. Earlier in her career, she spearheaded large-scale fundraising initiatives and worked collaboratively with executive and development teams to support donor relations, grants, sponsorships, and events.
In addition to her nonprofit leadership experience, Donna is the founder of Compass Rose Consulting, where she has supported organizations and small businesses with strategic planning, communications, and sustainable growth. Her entrepreneurial perspective complements her nonprofit experience, bringing a practical, systems-oriented approach to leadership.
As Executive Director, Donna will focus on strengthening CorpWell’s programs and partnerships, supporting initiatives such as the Clarendon Heritage Foundation, Oasis and the Brewster Heritage, expanding community engagement, and ensuring the organization is well-positioned for long-term sustainability. Her leadership emphasizes collaboration, values-driven decision-making, and building programs that connect people to place, history, and community.
