Hello, my name is Nicolette Asselin, Executive Director of the Corpwell Foundation. Our mission is to “Leave significant tracts for the future,” guiding our work to preserve, educate, and strengthen communities. This report summarizes our key achievements in 2025, including the publication of “New Faces of the Future”, the launch of the Oasis Managers Course, and the restoration of historic properties. It provides an overview of our activities, outcomes, and vision for the year ahead.” Video
2025 Report
On July 1st, 2025 the book about the experience and audiobook were launched, and on September 15th, 2025 the “Oasis Managers Course” was put live for it’s first trial students, with a summer long labor of love from our team, here and abroad. Now, the Certification course is available at Oasis-Virtual.org.
While we were busy recounting the many ways to open an Oasis Cultural and Social Center, our team was also hard at work finding new ways to bring funds to maintain the original Oasis in Brewster. We can report that it was a fruitful summer. Trailer Redefining Aging clip (Discussion)

The Corpwell Foundation launched the Clarendon Heritage Project to repurpose unused but salvageable historic buildings in Clarendon, Vermont. The initiative is dedicated to researching, appreciating, and preserving the town’s historical and cultural heritage. In carrying out this work, the Foundation collaborates with the Clarendon Historical Society, the Preservation Trust of Vermont, the Division of Historic Preservation, and the Vermont Community Development Program. Through this project, the Corpwell Foundation aims to strengthen the community by protecting its cultural identity and historical assets through education, research, publications, and preservation advocacy – ensuring the continued care of buildings, homes, landmarks, and archaeological sites (Report Clarendon Heritage-Chapel 1871).
Annual Meeting Nov 6, 2025
In 2025, we signed a contract with Forza Hospitality that has been involved in the summer rental aspect of Sea Captain Foster Homestead. We were able to raise our rental income to pay for that year’s repair and furniture needed for summer guests. We were able to replace all the window’s broken glass and repaint them, thanks to the “Mermaid Painters” who have been faithful at all past painting jobs.
By now, Sea Captain Foster Homestead, has seen many facelifts and a first three-year trial for repurposing, an Oasis, membership driven Social and Cultural Club. In September 2024 we close the trial and concentrates on recapping the experience and planning for the future. Video

Corpwell
